Notice: Due to the executive order issued by President Biden closing the federal government on December 24, 2024, the U.S. Census Bureau will release the Monthly Advance Report on Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Orders on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. The original release date was scheduled for Tuesday, December 24 at 8:30 a.m.

Special Notice: As part of the ongoing effort to improve the Advance Total Manufacturing estimates, beginning with the September 2024 data released on October 25, 2024, the file includes the addition of the Food products and Chemical products early shipments and inventories estimates from the monthly Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Orders Survey. These estimates are available on both a seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted basis and are included in the Advance Total Manufacturing Estimates file on the M3 website under the "Latest Monthly Advance Report on Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Order".
