The U.S. Census Bureau and the Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership in collaboration with the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) and the Labor Market Information (LMI) Institute, welcomes Andrew Foote as he presents, "Unlocking NAICS 5- and 6-Digit Details in the Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI).” This presentation will introduce the newly released North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 5- and 6- digit QWI tabulations and the available demographic and firm level crossings, including sex, age, race and ethnicity, education, firm age, and firm size at the state level.
Andrew Foote is the Lead Economist for the LEHD Research in the Census Bureau's Center for Economic Studies. He also serves as the lead researcher for the Post‐Secondary Employment Outcomes. His research focuses on worker transitions following job loss and labor market outcomes for graduates, and how these differ based on local labor demand conditions. Foote received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis in 2015.
