The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers’ shipments for November, adjusted for seasonal and trading day differences but not for price changes, was estimated at $1,955.1 billion, up 0.6 percent (±0.2 percent) from October 2025 and was up 3.5 percent (±0.3 percent) from November 2024.
Inventories
Manufacturers’ and trade inventories for November, adjusted for seasonal and trading day differences but not for price changes, were estimated at an end-of-month level of $2,678.3 billion, up 0.1 percent (±0.1 percent)* from October 2025 and were up 1.2 percent (±0.3 percent) from November 2024.
Inventories/Sales Ratio
The total business inventories/sales ratio based on seasonally adjusted data at the end of November was 1.37. The November 2024 ratio was 1.40.
