New Updates to Job-to-Job Flows Explorer on Workers Job-Hopping Across Cities

The U.S. Census Bureau and the Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership in collaboration with the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER), welcomes Heath Hayward as he presents new capabilities of the U.S. Census’s Bureau Job-to-Job Flows Explorer tool, a web-based analysis and interactive visualization data tool. It provides comprehensive access to job flow statistics via an intuitive dashboard interface in order to provide businesses, researchers and policy makers greater insight into labor market shifts and their impacts across the economy. Updates include tabulations by metro areas, compare worker earnings, rank industries and geographies, and normalize data on the fly, including calculating labor market share. Multiple small interface improvements have been added to the application, as well.
