The U.S. Census Bureau invites teachers and educational organizations to partner with the agency to promote the Statistics in Schools (SIS) program. Partner support makes it possible for more students to benefit from SIS resources that expand their ability to understand and use statistics in a data-driven world.
The SIS Teacher Ambassador Program is designed to empower K-12 educators to use real-life data in the classroom in an effort to increase statistical literacy in students at a young age. SIS ambassadors will have the opportunity to learn about and have a voice in the development of new products and interact with SIS staff and Census Bureau subject matter experts to bring current data into the classroom.

Becoming an SIS partner is easy and empowers you to make a difference in your community, exercise a critical civic duty, and further benefit the students you already serve.
