Partnerships

We foster partnerships with tribal, federal, state, and local governments as well as commercial partners. Find information about specific partnership programs and learn more about our partnerships with other organizations.

Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS)
The Census Bureau conducts the BAS annually to collect information about selected legally defined geographic areas.


School District Review Program (SDRP)
The SDRP allows state officials to review the Census Bureau school district information and to provide the Census Bureau with updates and corrections.


Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) Operation
LUCA is the only opportunity offered to tribal, state, and local governments to review and comment on the residential address list for their jurisdiction.


New Construction Program
The New Construction program helps ensure that the U.S. Census Bureau's address list is as complete and accurate as possible on Census Day.


Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP)
Enables invited participants to review and verify selected statistical area boundaries for Census data tabulation following specific guidelines and criteria.


American Indian and Alaska Native Programs
The U.S. Census Bureau has two main programs designed to collect and maintain geographic information on tribal areas.


2010 Census Participant Programs
Programs that were used to prepare address lists and statistical geographic boundaries prior to the 2010 Census.


2000 Census Participant Programs
Programs used to prepare address lists and statistical geographic boundaries prior to Census 2000.


Federal Register Notices
List of current and previous Federal Register notices related to census geography.


Data Content Guidelines
Instructions to partners on formatting datasets so that the Census Bureau can make the most of their address and feature information.
