Head of Research for Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD), U.S. Census Bureau

Erika McEntarfer is the head of research for the LEHD program at the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at the U.S. Census Bureau. She leads a research team that is developing new statistical measures on worker and firm dynamics from linked employer-employee data for the U.S. Her own research uses this data to study the dynamics of worker reallocation and declining job mobility in the United States. Much of this research lead to the development of job-to-job flows. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Tech in 2002.
