For 2017, the industry-specific questionnaires used for Puerto Rico were extended to American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, which previously used one questionnaire to cover all industries. This allows for the collection of more detailed data for these territories. For all territories, some questions have been changed to match questions asked on stateside Economic Census questionnaires.
