This example of a filled-in questionnaire from the 1850 Census shows the enumeration of statesman Henry Clay – his age, profession, value of real estate owned, and place of birth. The responses for Henry Clay in the questionnaire are notable not only because of his political importance, but also because of the significant value of the real estate he owned at the time of the enumeration.
