This report examines American Community Survey data from the first quarter of 2013, when the Internet response option was first offered. The purpose of this evaluation was to examine how adding the Internet reporting option affected the self-response levels for those demographic groups that have traditionally been more difficult to interview, such as younger adults, minority adults, households with young children and adults with little education.
