The Census Bureau identified a processing error for certain geographic relationships pertaining to Place of Work and Geographic Mobility for the Louisville/Jefferson County, KY-IN metropolitan area. With respect to Place of Work, workers who reported working in the principal city of this metro may be classified as working in the remainder of the metro area, rather than its principal city. With respect to Geographic Mobility, people who reported moving from the principal city of this metro area may be classified as moving from the remainder of the metro area, rather than its principal city.

Because the processing error was limited to people who reported working in or moving from the principal city of the Louisville/Jefferson County, KY-IN metropolitan area, values are unaffected for people working in or moving from other geographic areas in the United States and Puerto Rico. Residence geographies are unaffected by this processing error.

This error is present in the 2022 ACS 1-year and 2018-2022 ACS 5-year data products.
