August 22, 2022: The Census Bureau will release new 2010 Census demonstration data for the Demographic and Housing Characteristics File (DHC) on Thursday August 25. This will be the final opportunity for data users to provide feedback on the DHC before production settings are finalized. The 30-day feedback period will conclude September 26.

Join us  August 31, 2022, at 3 p.m. ET for a webinar to learn more about the 2010 demonstration data for the Demographic and Housing Characteristics File (DHC).

Webinar topics include: 

• Improvements made to the 2020 Disclosure Avoidance System (DAS) since release of the previous 2010 DHC demonstration data in March 2022.  

• Guidance on the type of feedback requested that will help us finalize the DAS for production. You’ll have at least 30 days to evaluate and provide feedback on both the person and household tables. 

• Next steps in the development of the final DHC data.

We encourage all data users to evaluate the new DHC demonstration data and provide feedback.
