Statistician/Demographer, Net International Migration Branch, Population Division

Pete Borsella is a statistician/demographer in the Population Division’s Net International Migration Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau. He focuses on leveraging administrative data sources for the estimation of international migration. Pete has worked on a variety of projects since joining the Census Bureau in 2012, including international migration estimates, national population estimates, small area poverty and health insurance estimates, and planning/implementing the 2020 Census. He earned his master’s degree in applied demography from Florida State University.
