Ting Yan, Ph.D.

Dr. Yan obtained her Ph.D. in Survey Methodology from the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM), University of Maryland, and did her postdoctoral training in survey methodology from the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan. Dr. Yan has over 20 years’ experience working in survey organizations and has published extensively on survey methodology. Dr. Yan is also an adjunct faculty member for JPSM and the Program in Survey and Data Science, University of Michigan. Dr. Yan was on the executive committee for the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) and has served as Chair of Diversity Subcommittee for AAPOR. Dr. Yan was the co editor-in-chief for Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology from 2016 to 2020.
