2006 - 2010 EEO Tables - Beta

Purpose

This Beta site was developed as a demonstration project in 2020 to make the most commonly used Census 2006-2010 EEO data tables more accessible to end users while the Census Bureau creates an EEO retireval tool on the new data dissemination platform. Currently, the full set of tables is only available as downloadable CSV files on Census FTP site: 2006-2010 EEO Tables. For detailed information about the EEO Tabulation overall, please visit the Equal Employment Opportunity Tabulation topic page.

Scope

The 2006 - 2010 EEO Tables Beta tool release was limited to the two most-accessed tables (1W and 1R) from the previous tool on American FactFinder. All geographies from the previous tool are available here. (See guidance above on overall EEO tabulation geography limitations).

Functionality

The data is accessed by table and geography selection. The results open in a new page. The results page can be bookmarked. All available occupations for the selected geography will be loaded into the resulting page.

The are several ways to navigate through the occupation data on the resulting page. You can use the advanced filters on the upper-left side of the table to choose one or more occupations. Or for a quick search, use the input box on the upper-right side and type in a occupation label or code. You can also use the pagination tool on the lower-right side to click through each occupation.

The data can be downloaded. If there are no filters applied all occupations will be downloaded. If filters are applied only those occupations will be downloaded.

A margin of error table is also available. The same functionality is available on the margin of error table. To see the correct margin of error data, please navigate to the occupation you are veiwing in the estimates table.
