The 2025 FSRDC Annual Business Meeting and Research Conference took place September 25-26. Hosted by the Cornell FSRDC and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, the conference commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Cornell FSRDC’s work facilitating research using restricted-use data to produce insights for the public good. More than 70 stakeholders attended the Business Meeting in person or virtually on September 25. And nearly 120 economists, demographers, health researchers, and others attended the Research Conference on September 26. John M. Abowd, the Edmund Ezra Day Professor Emeritus of Economics, Statistics and Data Science at Cornell University and former Associate Director for Research and Methodology and Chief Scientist of the Census Bureau, gave the keynote address. The Research Conference consisted of nine sessions including 33 presentations highlighting completed or ongoing research using restricted-use data from FSRDC partnering agencies.
