Residents in portions of Maricopa County, Ariz., will begin receiving letters to participate in the 2015 Census Test this week. The U.S. Census Bureau is conducting a series of tests leading up to the 2020 Census to research modern and cost-effective methods for the 2020 Census. The test in Maricopa is being conducted to research ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of following up with households who do not self-respond to the census.
