Alli Coritz is a senior analyst in the Racial Statistics Branch in the U.S. Census Bureau’s Population Division, where she is a subject matter expert on 2020 Census data products and the Race/Ethnicity Coding Improvement Project.
Since joining the Census Bureau in 2020 as a survey statistician in the Ethnicity and Ancestry Branch, Alli has conducted outreach to various stakeholder groups.
The author of several America Counts stories and Random Samplings blogs, she has also hosted webinars on topics such as the Demographic and Housing Characteristics File A (Detailed DHC-A) and a comparison of American Community Survey and 2020 Census race and ethnicity data.
Alli has a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Southern California, which she earned after spending two years with the Peace Corps in West Africa.
