Kevin Barragan-Smith, a demographer in the U.S. Census Bureau’s Population Division, is the coordinator of the Population and Housing Unit Estimates Special Tabulations Program, which produces and disseminates data files for internal and external customers. These files include the population controls for the Current Population Survey, American Community Survey, National Health Interview Survey and the Survey of Income and Program Participation. Kevin also leads a number of projects designed to improve data user and stakeholder experiences with the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates and  Projections Program. He received his master’s degree in urban and regional planning and demography from Florida State University.
