Zach Scherer is a survey statistician in the U.S. Census Bureau’s Income Statistics Branch in the Social, Economic and Housing Statistics Division, where he works with income data from the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement.
Since joining the Census Bureau in 2018, Scherer has also held positions in the Fertility and Family Statistics Branch and the Program Participation and Income Transfers Branch, primarily working with data from the Survey of Income and Program Participation. In addition, he served as a detailee in the Budget Analysis Branch of the Office of Management and Budget.
Scherer has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
