MARCH 12, 2020 — The 2020 Census is here. The U.S. Census Bureau is conducting massive media outreach as a part of its integrated communications campaign to let the public know the invitation to take the 2020 Census online, over the phone, or on paper is arriving in their mailbox starting today.
The Census Bureau is closely monitoring COVID-19 and the health, safety, and well-being of our staff and partners is our top priority.
Out of an abundance of caution, the Census Bureau will no longer have an in-person aspect of its National Event that was scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Ga. on March 16, 2020.
We will reschedule this as an online event to coincide with the release of the first 2020 Census Response Rates.
If you have any questions on this event on the meantime, please contact the Public Information Office at 301-763-3030 or pio@census.gov.
