Data User Notice posted on May 1, 2025: In April 2025, Census Bureau staff identified a processing error that affects selected data from the 2021 Annual Survey of Public Employment & Payroll (ASPEP) data published on May 16, 2024. We revised the full-time payroll and total payroll for the U.S. and Oklahoma under police protection total and police protection- persons with power of arrest. The processing error also impacted aggregate payroll totals for the U.S. and Oklahoma at the state- and state and local-levels. Additionally, response rates were impacted and have been revised accordingly.
