St. Louis Research Data Center
Opening in 2026, the St. Louis RDC is a partnership between Washington University of St. Louis and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. It is located in Bauer Hall on Washington University’s Danforth Campus at the Olin Business School. The St. Louis RDC is a satellite branch of the Kansas City RDC and welcomes researchers from around the region.

Seth Carnahan is an associate professor in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship area at Washington University’s Olin Business School. His research interests include human capital and entrepreneurship.

Partner Institutions
The operation of each Federal Statistical Research Data Center (RDC) is supported by both the Census Bureau and RDC partner institutions. Some RDC partner institutions form consortiums to share the operational costs of the RDC and may waive user fees for their affiliates. Several RDCs have built branch locations to reduce the cost of researchers commuting to the core location while still maintaining the identical stringent information technology and physical security requirements.
