The American Samoa Demographic Profile Summary File contains data on population and housing subjects derived from questions on the 2010 American Samoa Census questionnaire. The population and housing subjects in this file are listed below. Data are presented in 86 population tables and 35 housing tables. Selected medians and means also are include.
The American Samoa Summary File (ASSF) contains Census 2000 data compiled from all people and housing units. Population items include sex; age; ethnic origin and race; household relationship; urban and rural; households and families; group quarters; marital status; grandparents as caregivers; language spoken at home and frequency of English usage; place of birth, parents’ place of birth, citizenship status, and year of entry; migration and main reason for moving; children ever born (fertility); place of work; journey to work (commuting); school enrollment and educational attainment; vocational training; veteran status; military dependency; disability; employment status; industry, occupation, and class of worker; income; and poverty status.
The Detailed Cross Tabulations contain data compiled from the questions asked of all people and about very housing unit. It includes counts for total persons and total housing units. Other population and ousing subjects are listed below. Selected means and medians also are provided.
