2005 – 2007 Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) using Current Population Survey (CPS) Data

The 2005-2007 SAHIE estimates utilized the Annual Social and Economic Supplement (ASEC) of the Current Population Survey (CPS) to model health insurance coverage. See methodology for additional information. The estimates were produced for either 200% or 250% of the income-to-poverty ratio (IPR) depending upon the state's implementation of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) guidelines.

Demographic and Income Model Methodology (2005-2007)
This page provides a summary of the demographic and income model methodology used for the SAHIE 2005 to 2007 estimates.
National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP)
NBCCEDP provides low-income, uninsured, and underserved women access to timely breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.
