The Company Summary report provides basic data for all census-covered multi-unit companies. This publication also provides data for companies with 500 or more employees and auxiliary establishments. For large companies, national-level figures are provided by company industry classification on number of companies, number of employees, number of establishments, annual payroll, sales and receipts, inventories, capital expenditures, assets, depreciation charges, and selected operating expenses. Table 6 of this publication presents data on separately reported auxiliary units of multi-establishment firms covered in the 1992 Economic Census.
