Poverty Status in 2000
The CPS 2001 Annual Social and Economic Supplement asked participants to report their poverty status for 2000.
Note: In some cases tables are incorrectly labeled as being based on the age of the householder; all estimates are based on the age of the individual. In years prior to 2019 estimates include individuals in unrelated subfamilies. Data users should exercise caution when interpreting these estimates and making comparisons across time periods.
