I am a caretaker for a vacant property that received the American Community Survey (ACS). What should I do?

The ACS samples addresses, not individuals. If the housing unit is vacant, we typically ask someone who is familiar with the address to complete the questions pertraining to the characteristics of the home (housing questions) to the best of their ability and leave a note that the property is vacant. If we determine that the unit is in fact vacant, we will not make any further attempt to contact this address.
