This report presents projections of the population of voting age (18 years and over) for States on November 1, 1984, by broad age groups and sex. These projections are designed to serve as a reference for the primary elections and the November general election for President and members of the 99^th Congress of the United States. The projections relate to the resident population as counted in the decennial census, including members of the Armed forced where they reside at their duty stations.
