Second quarter 2014 tax revenues for four selected state and local government tax categories decreased to $309.5 billion from $309.7 billion in the same quarter of 2013. See Figure 1.

Of these four categories, property and general sales tax showed growth over the same quarter in 2013 while individual and corporate income tax decreased.
