The Electronic Response Data Transfer, or eResponse, system is used to count people in group quarters, or group living facilities, and electronically transfers information from facility records that are maintained by administrators.
The system allows a facility to respond to the 2020 Census without a personal visit by a Census Bureau worker or the use of paper census questionnaires.
