Nathan Yau: Visualizing Census Data

Nathan Yau of FlowingData.com discusses visualizing census data during a visit to the US Census Bureau. "Visualization" or "data visualization" are terms that mean the presentation of statistics with images that depict the meaning of the statistics. These include scatterplots of observations, graphs of linked estimates, bar charts, bubble charts, maps with colored/shaded areas, time-varying graphical images showing change over time.
