Executive Summary

In countries with high levels of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) prevalence, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) mortality will have major demographic impacts on populations.  The U.S. Census Bureau estimates and projects population, population growth, fertility, life expectancy, and infant mortality worldwide.  For high prevalence countries we included the impact of AIDS mortality.  This report presents these results.
