To find out more about demographic characteristics of U.S. counties, tune in on Friday, June 14, 2013, at approximately 8:15 a.m. EDT as Alexa Jones-Puthoff, chief of the Population Estimates Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau, discusses 2012 population estimates of age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin for the nation.

Each Friday, C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" segment features information from the federal statistical system.
