The U.S. Census Bureau has released the 2013 County/Metro and Micro Area Population Estimates for North Carolina.

The embargo of the North Carolina population estimates was broken this evening. Per the Census Bureau's embargo policy, these estimates are being released to the public. The embargo for the nation, states, counties and other metro and micro areas REMAINS IN EFFECT. NO OTHER ESTIMATES MAY BE RELEASED PRIOR TO 12:01 A.M. EDT, THURSDAY, MARCH 27, 2014.
