OCT. 9, 2015 — The 2012 Economic Census concludes the release of the Geographic Area Series for the retail trade sector. These statistics include data for furniture and home furnishings stores, food and beverage stores and nonstore retailers. The files provide statistics on the number of establishments, sales, payroll, number of employees and other data items by industry. Geographic Area Series data are presented for the nation, states, combined statistical areas, metropolitan statistical areas, counties and economic places.
