Cheryl Hill Lee is the Chief of the State Finance and Tax Statistics Branch in the Public Sector Area of the Economy-Wide Statistics Division of the U.S. Census Bureau. Prior to working within the Economic Directorate, she was the Current Population Survey Health Insurance Analyst within the Social, Economic, and Housing Statistics Division of the Demographic Directorate of the U.S. Census Bureau.
Prior to working at the Census Bureau, Cheryl was a Research Analyst with the National Urban League’s Institute for Opportunity and Equality, where she utilized Census data to research, publish articles and present at various professional conferences on topics related to health insurance, unemployment insurance and Social Security.
Cheryl has a Master’s Degree in Economics from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Howard University.
