Daniel Doyle

Deputy Chief of the Decennial Census Management Division

Daniel Doyle is deputy division chief of the Census Bureau’s Decennial Census Management Division (DCMD). In this role, Doyle leads and guides decennial census research, design, implementation and overall project management.

Doyle previously served as an adviser for the 2020 Census program, managing and overseeing all 2020 Census operations on the U.S. Virgin Islands St. Thomas and St. John.

Prior to the decennial program, Daniel served as assistant director of the Survey of Income and Program Participation. During his tenure in the Demographic Directorate, he also helped onboard and manage other demographic surveys including the National Survey of Children’s Health, the National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses and the National Survey of Psychiatrists.

Doyle has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland at College Park, a master's certificate in project management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and has been a certified project manager professional (PMP) since 2016.
