Eric Jensen is the Senior Advisor for Population Estimates and Coverage Measurement in the Population Division of the U.S. Census Bureau. He leads the Demographic Analysis program, which is one of two operations that the Census Bureau uses to measure coverage in the decennial census. His research focuses on census coverage, Historically Undercounted Populations, international migration, measuring racial and ethnic diversity, and population estimates. He is a member of the United Nations Expert Group on Refugee and Internally Displaced Persons Statistics. Eric received his Ph.D. in rural sociology and demography from Penn State University. He started working at the Census Bureau in the fall of 2009 in the Immigration Statistics Staff of the Population Division.
