Joshua Patterson is the Director of Applied Solutions Engineering at Nvidia, where he leads a team devoted to solving the most difficult and computationally demanding enterprise challenges using big data, accelerated computing, and advanced visualization.  Prior to Nvidia, Josh was the Principal Data Scientist at Accenture Cyber Security Lab, where he led research and development initiatives to advance threat detection in conjunction with leading experts across the public sector, private sector, and academia.  In addition, Josh has served as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow, where he worked with the U.S. Census Bureau and Department of Commerce to develop Making Income Accessible as a Service(MIDAAS) and supported other top level data science initiatives. Josh holds a BA in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in economics from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business.
