Lisa N. Bunch is a survey statistician in the Health and Disability Statistics Branch in the Census Bureau’s Social, Economic and Housing Statistics Division, where she works with health insurance and disability data from the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC), the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), and the American Community Survey (ACS). Her research focuses on how changes in demographic groups, policy, and economic conditions affect access to health care.
Prior to joining the Census Bureau, Bunch worked for the U.S. Department of the Army. She earned her bachelor’s degree in gerontology and family science from Towson University.
