FEB. 8, 2018 — A new U.S. Census Bureau data repository has been launched as a result of key recommendations made by the 2017 “Report of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking,” in conjunction with the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). The repository, hosted by the ICPSR, improves transparency by establishing a searchable inventory, through which the public can learn about the data that government collects.
This repository continues the long-standing partnership between the Census Bureau and ICPSR, dating back to the 1960s. To learn more about the new repository and the Census Bureau’s partnership with the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research, view the ICPSR news release at <https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/icpsrweb/about/news.jsp?node=882>.
