The U.S. Census Bureau will offer an embargo period for subscribers to view 2015-2019 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates, which cover more than 40 social, economic, housing and demographic topics, including language, education, commuting, employment, mortgage/rent status, income, poverty, and health insurance for every community in the nation.
Embargo subscribers will have access to these statistics beginning Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. EST.
The release will allow users to compare three nonoverlapping five-year ACS datasets for the first time: 2005-2009, 2010-2014 and 2015-2019. The five-year estimates will be available for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, every congressional district, and all counties, places, census tracts, ZIP Code Tabulation Areas and block groups.
Embargo subscribers may interview Census Bureau experts during the embargo period. To request an interview, email <pio@census.gov>.
We encourage embargo subscribers to confirm login usernames and passwords are up to date before Dec. 8. For assistance, email <pio@census.gov>.
