The U.S. Census Bureau released an updated version of the LEHD Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) data product today. The 8.4 version of LODES adds data for 2023. The OnTheMap application has been updated to include these new LODES tabulations and now contains 22 years of data (2002-2023). The underlying geography in OnTheMap has also been updated to the TIGER 2024 vintage.

Data for 2023 does not contain information on Alaska and Michigan workers. These data may be added in the future. LODES data files can be accessed at lehd.ces.census.gov/data/#lodes or via the LED Extraction Tool.
