This release of the International Database contains revised estimates and projections for 25 countries or areas, incorporating new data or analysis. All projections have been produced by sex and single year of age up to 100 years and over. For information on earlier updates to the IDB, see the release notes history.

The release also includes data for 16,638 subnational areas around the world that are similar to U.S. states, counties, and townships, along with enhanced mapping features.
