Introduction

The use of administrative data sources (ADSs) in population and housing censuses (PHCs) continues to increase in many countries. This technical note builds on a previous note, “Using Administrative Data in a Traditional Census,” and presents the various dimensions, tools, and indicators used to assess the quality of administrative data throughout the life cycle.
