This animated map series presents national maps of child poverty rates at the school district level from 2007 to 2023.
These school district maps display a composition of unified and elementary districts only. Cartographic generalization was applied to simplify and smooth line work. Each year’s mapped school district boundaries correspond to their respective School District Review Program (SDRP), as outlined in the table below.
