2014 Panel Wave 4: Problems with Registered Domestic Partnership Data

There is a very small number of cases in which there is inconsistent information between the cohabiting partner identifiers at interview month (EPNCOHAB) and the registered domestic partnership variable (EREGDOMPART). A respondent may identify a cohabiting partner, but the registered domestic partnership variable may have a missing value, instead of appearing as a non-registered domestic partnership.
