There are a few person-level records where the universe of a respondent’s edited year of birth (TCBYR_1-6), grandparent status (EGRNDPR), and age at first birth (TAGE_FB) is correct but is inconsistent with the corresponding status flags (ACBYR_1-6, AGRNDPR, AAGE_FB). Additionally, a few person-level records have edited fertility information for EGRNDPR and RCB_UNION but should not be “in universe” for the variable. Data users should be aware of these cases when analyzing Fertility data.
