There are a few person-level records where the respondent’s year of entry into multiple partner fertility (TMPF_YR) is inconsistent with their birth history. A few cases have a year of entry into multiple partner fertility that is equal to their year of first birth or that does not match a birth year in their fertility history. Additionally, a few cases report more than one childbearing union (TNUM_CBU) but not multiple partner fertility (EMPF). Data users should be aware of these cases when doing analyses of multiple partner fertility.
